Hey guys! So I’m writing this blog about a website called Influenster. It’s a site where you earn badges to potentially be able to receive a thing called a VoxBox. It’s a box that they send you full of products for you to review and maybe recommend to your family and friends. It’s completely free to sign up for and free to earn badges.
I received what they’re calling the Cosmo VoxBox ‘12. Let’s just say that I LOVE it! ^_^ There was a perfume, which I already have and it’s my favorite of the moment! There was chocolate and pens and even a Venus Razor.
The perfume is Forever Red from Bath & Body Works. I absolutely love it! I wear it everyday! I’ve already recommended it to everyone!
The chocolate is Ghirardelli Sea Salt Escape with roasted almonds. I’m not a fan of almonds or Sea Salt, or of salt in general. But the chocolate itself is really good!
The pens are FriXion by Pilot Pent. They’re new, and they have a rubber tip so it erases if you make a mistake. I just tried it out and it’s pretty neat. I remember those blue ones with the eraser on the tip and how they didn’t work as well as they should have. But these work fairly good!! :)
The last thing that’s inside the box is a Venus Embrace razor. It even comes with a Venus & Olay blade refill. I’ve always liked Venus razors and I love Olay products, so I’m really excited to try this out!
All in all I’m super excited to be chosen to receive one of these boxes! I love getting new things and trying them out! So I REALLY HOPE that I’m chosen to receive more of them!

This is a line from the song called Willow Tree by Plumb. It’s one of the most beautiful songs on redemption I’ve ever heard. Through the song, she sings about waiting to reunite with the person who left her because she lied, deceived, drank, and just had many problems. When the person left, she recognized how they were always there for her but it took their leaving to see how serious her problems were. So she’s reminding the person where they lived and is waiting for them to come home.The very last line of the song says,
“You never forgot how to get here”
I chose By The Door because of this song. Everyday, we come across people who are in the same need of redemption. Sometimes, it’s because they don’t want to change out of their lifestyle, and other times it’s because nobody gives them that chance. Either way, we are still to offer the same grace that was given to us at the cross.
There are three photo options. The reason I added the quotes was because those lines are exactly what this picture screams out at me. It was amazing how the quick, subtle photo was taken in a hurry and yet, it displays exactly what I wanted it to. Thank you for your interest.
Each photo is $10.00 flat and that includes shipping. There are only ten copies of each photo and depending on how they sell will determine if more are ordered. So feel free to spread the word and share the link.
I chose ten dollars because of a few reasons. One, it’s going to pay for the shipping and two, proceeds are going to a few other causes that are important to me.
.75 cents from each domestic sale will be going to The International Justice Mission. This cause rescues those who are trapped in slavery and sex trafficking. You can learn more about them at their website http://www.ijm.org/
.75 cents from each domestic sale will also be given to Bloodwater. This cause works to bring clean water to poverished countries. If you have any idea how serious not having clean water is, then you know this is an important cause. You can learn more about them at their website http://bloodwatermission.org/
Finally, .75 cents from each domestic sale will be contributed for the ministry I’ve always been a fan of; Mercy Ministries. They specialize in taking in women who struggle from battered lives, regardless of what it is, free of charge and provide healing and restoration. Many times, during the holidays, these girls only receive gifts from those that donate. It has also been said a few years ago by Alyssa Barlow that girls on the waiting list have passed away because they couldn’t get the help they needed. At that time, there simply was no room. The money after that, is going to be used to buy things such as hats, gloves, and socks for the homeless. It’s that time of year where the nights are getting colder. If these photos sell beyond these things, items for hygiene kits will be purchased and hopefully food to share for the holidays.
The cost of shipping internationally will determine the contribution made from each purchase. International shipping will cost more, but since it’s included in the price, the contribution may be smaller. There will still be one, however.
When purchasing these photos, remember that you’re contributing to make a difference for the needy. I will keep track and share progress to keep you all informed as to how this money is being used. I know that I don’t have an organization behind my name but I wanted to assure in some way that the money is going toward these things.
